She started her career from Abodh in 1984 and after Bollywood movie Tezaab in 1988 she create her own image. She was famous because of her performance, her beauty and her dancing.
On 17th October 1999, Madhuri Dixit married with Shriram Madhav Nene, A UCLA-trained cardiovascular surgeon who practiced in Denver. The have two sons, one is Arin who was born in March 2003 and Raayan who was born in 2005. She has started her online dance academy and she is passionate dancer.

A couple of insignificant movies like 'Abodh' and 'Swati ' and critics wrote off this diva without a flitch. More movies of the like came with 'Uttar Dakshin', 'Wardi' and 'Khatro Ke Khiladi' but it was with 'Tezaab' and 'Ram Lakhan', that the country sat up and took notice of this young woman who was going to change the course of things to come on Indian Cinema.
